Winners of the competition tendered by el Consorci de la Zona Franca. The proposal goes beyond traditional architecture and urban planning, since the concept of a business city has been rethought and produced in an areaa of Hospitalet de Llobregat, just where it borders Barcelona, a partircularly attractive spot. The motivating idea behind the project, therefore, was to create a daytime city that concentrated offices, convention halls, shops, small businesses and a big hotel. In short, a place that has everything necessary to undertake business activities, and which becomes a pioneer of its genre, making workplace efficiency compatible with quality in the environment and human relationships. The complex is composed of 10 buildings and a luxury hotel of 400 rooms, reserving the central area for a large garden.
