Multi-family building in Rambla Marina
In association with Plasencia Arquitectura
Project for a multi-family building in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat with ground floor plus eight floors above ground, and three floors below ground.
In all the façades except the one that overlooks the passageway and the party walls, a balcony is proposed. This balcony seems a continuous element on the outside since the perimeter beam is continuous. But between dwellings there are gaps that give them more privacy.
Each house has two sliding panels of micro-perforated aluminum sheet. These panels give lightness and movement to the façade without losing the feeling of homogeneity achieved by the horizontal continuity of the edge of the floor, and the vertical continuity of the metal profiles of square section that reinforce the sense of unity and subtly mark an order behind the random movement that the panels of each house will have.
In the interior of the block, a garden of public use is projected. In the basement of Avenida Carrilet block, there will be a room of 335 m2 with gymnasium, multipurpose room and pool with changing rooms that is visually connected through a double space and a large glazed surface with the green space of the interior of the island.
