Tampico Hotel, Ibiza

Boxes open to the landscapes, the light, the air, seeking the maximum solidity with the minimum volume, following the spirit that Le Corbusier marked with his community housing.

It is almost a minimalist project, light, simple structurally and in terms of distribution, which despite being built high, have few storeys, with the desire to respect the horizontality of the landscape, which respond to the essence of traditional Eivissa architecture and which follows the custom of being rendered in white.

This is surely why, despite later reforms and interventions, this hotel still maintains its original spirit and cannot be disconnected from the international style, which dominated Europe in the decades of the mid-20th century.
